☞ Autobiography (3rd person)

Ruby Jane B. Policarpio is born and raised in the province of Bulacan. She graduated primary school at Smart Starter's Montessori. And she finished Junior High School in Darwin International. She graduated 13th of 168  senior high school students in FEU-NRMF. And she is currently pursuing a Bachelor in Physical Therapy in FEU-NRMF in the hope of succeeding in the field of rehabilitative care.

Ever since the beginning of her academic years, she faced the hardships of being in competitive schools. She has been repeatedly told to embrace suffering, to pay now, and play later. At the age of 9, those words were incomprehensible.  Her mind was pre-occupied with having a re-run of her favorite Disney shows such as Phineas & Ferb, Suite Life on Deck, and Hannah Montana. And her indifferent behavior towards school lasted until the 6th Grade. She was often reprimanded for having below average grades. But her ears were shut, it did not matter. She got an average 3 point higher than the passing score, without a single browse of the book. People never stopped expecting from her. What changed is realizing the extent to which is a below average student is getting her. She overheard classmates discussing how nothing good could be expected from her. She was not the social butterfly type, that attracted resentments. And they began to undermine her, simply because she chose not to dwell in her studies.

This situation led her to a 360 degree turn to her academic years. Her esteem waded away by the harsh words of her so-called friends. And she had two choices, either to succumb to their label or surpass them. And so with baby steps, she began to change her ways. She started listening to lectures, instead of talking with her seatmates. Eventually, she learned to tolerate the company of textbooks. The knowledge she gained from these textbooks rebuilt her image. In time,  she found herself to be someone else, a better version of herself. And she now looks at this peer bullying as a blessing. It was what catalyzed her to become who she is today, goal driven and self-loving woman.

As a victim of insecurity, she strives to use writing and physical therapy as a tool to help her future patient obtain physical care and ensure a healthy socio-psychological self in the process. And so she intends to be an Advocate and Physical Therapist in the future. She would do talks regarding mental health and the importance of healthy physical being, as well. At the same, she wishes to empower women and others to feel confident even if it means different. At the same time, she wishes to touch topics that are often unconventional such as sexuality, rape, and incest. This is an attempt to bring about awareness of existence.

College Uneducation revised (Medical student edition) (Essay)

The irony in Medical School It is ironic how willingly you pay a million to fund medical school, to become the hero who saves life. Yet the supposed future health care professionals were never given the opportunity to take care of themselves. They submerge themselves to thousands of pages, every single day. They cannot go through medical school without having several mental breakdowns. Sleep is a luxury that they could never afford. They are expected to learn proper nutritional recommendations to patients. Yet they can barely have adequate nutrition for themselves. They have no time to cook a healthy dish. They have to resort to fast food meals, which clenched the appetite and so is cardiovascular diseases and cancer. If you miss just one chapter and you are labeled to be a disappointment, a tardy student who fail because of being irresponsible. You can never be understood from another view. You could have been ill, or is undergoing a tough time. But that is never given import

She was blessed to have loving parents. Soon, life came crushing upon her when her father cheated. Her mother could not take, she took her own life. For her, her life was a living hell. She blamed her evil step mother for it. Her stepmother was selfish she wanted to keep the wealth for her and her daughters. Her stepmother put poison on her father's drink. She knew he would be the only one permitted to drink from that golden cup, it was a gift of her mother from their wedding. Her father desperately pounded his chest, as he struggled to catch some air. His lips turned blue, and his eyes were bloodshot red. His breathing ragged
