Society disapproves (Tercet)

Built a façade for everyone's satisfaction
John's withered by their expectations
Just as he stops to unfold Janine by fashion

His parents convince him to come out of his rebellion
Yet society seemed to dictate who he's supposed to be
To desire for femininity's will always be a rebellion

Like being cage with no escaped
Unhappiness stabs him as he breathes
He just wants his eyes to forever be shut

And so the temptress gave in to urges
Opted to engage in an affair to never be discovered
For it shall mark the time to shame his nuisances

Although careful no secrets hide for eternity
Soon his secrets dishonor society
And so his beau too ashamed to even keep his company

And so John's again left alone with much more emptiness
This time with the frown upon from those who adored him
Unjust for his happiness needs no harm, yet hunted him like a curse

And so for the last time, he wore his red silky dress
His lips lustrously crimson expels a weary sigh
His eyes shine until it finally forever shut unexpressed

Upon the arrival of his faith to people's, no regret was sounded
Instead of remorse, people applauded
For they believed God has arrived for the sinful to be punished.

They are expected to learn proper nutritional recommendations to patients. Yet they can barely have adequate nutrition for themselves. They have no time to cook a healthy dish. They have to resort to fast food meals, which clenched the appetite and so is cardiovascular diseases and cancer. If you miss just one chapter and you are labeled to be a disappointment, a tardy student who fail because of being irresponsible. You can never be understood from another view. You could have been ill, or is undergoing a tough time. But that is never given import...

And she is currently pursuing a Bachelor in Physical Therapy in FEU-NRMF in the hope of succeeding in the field of rehabilitative care. Ever since the beginning of her academic years, she faced the hardships of being in competitive schools. She has been repeatedly told to embrace suffering, to pay now, and play later. At the age of 9, those words were incomprehensible.  Her mind was pre-occupied with having a re-run of her favorite Disney shows such as Phineas & Ferb, Suite Life on Deck, and Hannah Montana. And her indifferent behavior towards school lasted until the 6th Grade. She was often reprimanded for having below average grades. But her ears we...
